Was at an event were the family of the restaurant made some food for everyone. I have to say the Stuffed Mushrooms were the BEST I ever had, and I have tried many..The tomato type facoccia had such great flavor. Celebrated my Uncle and Aunt's 50th Anniversary last night at the Manor Inn. Our family was set up in a private room for the special occasion, as we were a larger party, Reservations accepted. Food delicious, service impeccable, atmosphere cozy, comfortable. I would highly recommend this establishment for regular night dining or big events.
Last night we went for dinner and could not have asked for better!! The hostess, Kate was so kind and happy to see us. She gave us the perfect table. Our waitress Anna was very sweet and she had a great sense of humor. She took our order and laughed with us during the many options with our order. We loved the calamari. I have never had calamari that tender! It is now a favorite that I will be sure to order much more often. The shrimp cocktail was very perfectly cooked and served very cold. As always, the French Onion soup was perfection! Our dinner choices were great! The prime rib was tender and cooked perfectly. The Veal Milanese with a baked potato was good. The pork chops were cooked as they were ordered, breaded and fried. They were very tender. The mashed potatoes were a nice surprise with the garlic! The service was excellent!! It is always a great meal at Manor. Last night our food was great and the service was excellent!!
I had my bridal shower here on May 6th and everything turned out great! The ladies assisting our party were so wonderful and attentive, everyone said they loved the food (I agree!) and there was plenty of space for over 80 people and other tables for desserts, gifts, etc. I would definitely recommend!
I have been visiting Manor Inn for the past decade. While each time is a unique experience, one constant has been the quality of food provide. As of recently, the generous portion sizes combine with the reasonable menu prices and friendly service to make an excellent sit-down dining time. They are also able to host events for anything from weddings to birthdays!
I hosted my aunts 90th birthday yesterday. The pre party planning was easy thanks to the expertise of John and Joe. The day of the event was spectacular. The service was second to none. The food was delicious and plentiful . I am so pleased we chose this venue for our special event!!
Anna was such a great waitress the food was excellent. The place was clean definitely five stars before we came to this place. We were going to go to a place next-door called Young Young. It was the most nastiest place so we decided let’s try this place and wow we amazed at the decor the people place in the food great family outing.
Took my husband and his parents for Mother's Day. The atmosphere was lovely, very pretty decorations. The food was outstanding. My mother in law loves lobster and she had the stuffed lobster tails which she said were delicious. My husband and father in law had steaks, which they said were great. I had the chicken Parm which was phenomenal. Our server was awesome, very friendly and professional. I've lived in Southington my whole life and have been here numerous times, they just seem to be getting better as time goes on! Thank you for making my beloved mother in law's Mother's Day so nice!
